Ty and I met in June of 2005 while working in radio sales. We became instant friends, and had a lot in common. In July of 2007, Ty left to seek another career opportunity, and we lost touch. On the afternoon of September 4th, I got a friend request on Facebook that would change both our lives. Both of us were going through tough times, and as always our friendship completely remained strong. After watching an Auburn game at different friend's houses, we met up at a Waffle House for dessert. When we began leaving, we hugged for what seemed like eternity. The next day I recieved a text that said, "Did we have a moment". That hug changed our lives forever. We call it our Waffle House Moment!!! The who said "I Love You" is a funny story that is told differently, but we will save that for another time :). It has been an amazing two and half years. God has truely blessed our broken roads.

Our wedding is a little bit of both of us. We joke and say it is Paula Dean meets Rock N Roll. We are having a champagne brunch wedding with true vintage southern fare.

We will marry on May 21, 2011 at 11am CST on the stairs of the Shorter Mansion in beautiful Eufaula, Alabama. Some might know the Shorter Mansion as the big white house in the movie "Sweet Home Alabama".

Our reception will be a great event.

We will have a Arnold Palmers, champagne and Mimosa cocktail hour behind the mansion followed by a true southern brunch buffet.

Entertainment will be provided by the bluegrass band, Blue Harvest.
